Jigsaw

It was going to be a day of housework today but we didn't really get much done! H's Gran and Papa came to visit in the afternoon, and H's Daddy and Papa took her out on her bike to try it out. She was a bit unsure but gave it a go for 5-10 minutes. She's still perhaps a centimetre or 2 too short for it, but her feet do touch the ground so hopefully she will gain her confidence with lots of practice.

After the grandparents left, H's Daddy made a spicy Chicken Jambalaya for dinner which turned out to be delicious, and something we would definitely have again. H enjoyed it too (except for spitting out the sweetcorn!) After dinner, there was a lot of jumping and leaping from furniture going on, so we got out a couple of jigsaws before bed to calm things down a bit. H's jigsaw skills are really coming on and she was very proud of completing this Peppa Pig one (with help of course). She isn't shy about congratulating herself and shouted "Hooray, we did it" every time we got a piece in place!
