Almond Valley

Today, H and I had a day out with friends at Almond Valley Heritage Park. It wasn't really the weather for it though as it's been miserable all week here - rain, snow, rain, hail, snow, more rain etc.

We managed to spend about half an hour outside - chasing ducks, watching pigs, sheep, rabbits, and 2 goats locking horns in battle. Then we went for a bounce on the huge outdoor trampolines. H loved running about on them as they were level to the ground and she was running round in circles. I couldn't get her to stay in one place long enough to capture her and her friend K though! As you can see, she was off again.

When the rains came, we went inside for lunch, and then to the soft play centre. H loved the big kids bit though and wouldn't stay in the toddlers section, so I spent lots of time chasing after her. She absolutely loved being able to roam around free though. I had a great day and it was lovely to catch up with my friend C, whom I actually met on another website! We both had babies around the same time, and have met up several times since.

H's Daddy has his friends to stay this weekend for a "boys weekend" and they arrived tonight, so it will be a busy weekend, keeping them in beer and full breakfasts!
