Elusiveness

These were the last things to be packed in hubby's suitcase in the early hours of this morning, before he made his way to Manchester to fly to New Orleans.
He will be lecturing at a conference there this week.The up side is, he will get to see our daughter Leo when the ship she is on docks there at the weekend, the down side?I am gonna miss my right arm man and best friend!
I can see some of you might be a little concerned about the style of footwear he is taking with him but fear not. Leo asked him to take them over for her. When she left home some months ago, to start her present contract,she took her Ugg boots, which are now proving to be a little on the heavy side. Mind you, why she wants ANY type of boots in the Caribbean I can't imagine!
Anyway ,when requested, they were duly rooted out of her wardrobe and laid aside incase they were forgotten.Every morning for the last week or so, I have woken to this pair of boots peeping out from behind the furniture ,reminding me that they had a journey to make,yet when it came to packing the case, they were almost left behind.That would have been a disaster, resulting in a malfunction of her dress code!
