Blue Betsy

Betsy tentatively sampling some blue chocolate we brought her back from Venice. We got them both some chocolates in the shape of Venetian masks, in brown, black, blue and pink. Apparently it was very nice!

Betsy and Al's parents evenings today. It is Betsy's last before Secondary school. It's a strange dynamic, hearing relative strangers talk about your children, especially as they see a side of them that you don't, and actually seem to know them quite well. I never quite know what to expect, even if it's all good it feels a bit weird. I'm so proud of them both. Chris and I left them in the house on their own when we went to the school! It was only 4 o'clock and we were gone less than an hour but even so it was a first.

Lovely spring sunshine today. Hung washing in the garden for the first time this year. It didn't dry, but it was out there!
