I'm pleased to say that the fire brigade have successfully put out the canal!

I guess it was an exercise to practise sooking water up, and blawin water oot! It sums up the long day well, a day spent recycling comments and instructions! You get days like this, especially if you have a high proportion of pupils with short term memory issues.

So, today was a day for saying the same thing you had just said, again, and again, and again. Successful learning, exhausted teacher. Desperate blip from the window!
