Snail on Glass

Looking around for inspiration for today's blip I noticed this snail stuck on the window in my back door. Given the dent in the shell (which only showed up in the macro shot) and the fact it hasn't moved for days I guess it has expired.

The garden security light provided the light for the shot and gave the shell its highlights and reflections in the glass. I used a long exposure and close crop to complete the composition.
