G is for ... Green Man

The Green Man is an ancient symbol - some might say pagan but I prefer the term spiritual.

I've always been drawn to images of the Green Man. This is a copy of one to be found in Beverley Minster in East Yorkshire. Yes, Green Men regularly appear in Christian churches.
