Champion!!

Only one possible subject for a blip today - the amazing win by Wales over England (30 - 3) to steal the 6 Nations Championship and deny them the Grand Slam.

The atmosphere even on tv was stunning and the boys did us proud. My use of the word 'us' may confuse those of you who know that I'm a proud Yorkshire lass but I've always supported Wales at rugby union, ever since I was at school there in the 1970s.

It is not only the fact that Wales have won but it was the manner of the win, so emphatic. Their build up to the 6 Nations was abyssmal and so much was made of England's win over the All Blacks. The smile hasn't left my face. Except for when Jerry WSL said that they had done it for his mam.

What a day.
