Preening pigeon

Not such a bad bird after all!
I find the soft-looking texture of its underwing/breast feathers surprising touching - bit of an aah! factor, though in general I don't think they're such great birds..
Anyway, I found this little street scavenger high up above the town this morning as I flew by. We had a photo session together and this is the result.
That makes 2 birds this week - phew!
