Tulips

Lovely present this afternoon as my friend came round with flowers to see how we were settling in to our new/old abode.

We are settling, and putting our bumps and scratches onto the pristine paintwork. We're still struggling with boxes which don't seem to contain anything we really need but are too full of treasures to chuck away.

And with the last of the invoices for the project coming in we're not sure if we can stretch to some of the essential items of furniture we'd promised ourselves. So decorative bookcases will have to wait while the functional ones do their job as always.
