Los Angeles

View from Griffith Observatory. Probably the best representation I can give of LA. It's an interesting city, it feels more like a ton of small cities interconnected - you have to go by car to get anywhere, so you visit one spot, drive half an hour, visit another, etc.
FYI the high buildings on the left indicate Downtown LA, the street in the middle is Vermont Ave (I was told).

Today the grad students took me to visit;
- the museum of natural history,
- Venice beach & the canals,
- Hollywood - the Chinese theatre and the walk of fame,
- and the Griffith Observatory
