Newcastle International Airport

A day trip to Newcastle today. A flight from Southampton's own international airport. Slightly disconcerting to still get the lifejacket instructions during the safety briefing, I thought it was in case we crashed in Southampton Water. I had forgotten that the approach into Newcastle takes the aircraft out over the North Sea.
I have been to Newcastle 3 times each for just a day and all I have seen is the airport, taxi and office (different taxis and offices). I think I need to go for longer and take some time in the city and exploring the surrounding countryside.
After 60 plus blips I have resorted to the camera phone.
I like the clouds and the sun catching the easyjet plane.
