into the light

8:30am and on the way to work.

A little later than yesterday as I stayed home to read with the weeWeir for a bit before heading out on the bike.

Another warm morning and a gentle tailwind.

I've been reminded lately about the importance of living in community. Of bringing things out into the open. Of light shining in dark places. So it was apt to be coming through one of the many bridges on the Union Canal and into the sunlight on the other side.


Got plenty done this morning (including packing three crates worth of audit records!) and then out for a lunchtime run. Over 5k again, and another quick-pace. Here's hoping I can keep this pace up and start to push out towards 10k.

The afternoon was a little less-than-ideal. Ended up leaving work at 6 again.

However, some chat with Mrs theWeir was nice, and I've back-blipped all-bar-one of the last 12 days:
