Where For Art Thou? Southgate, Melbourne.

A confused Saturday. Journeyed into Lygon St (the Italian heart of Melbourne) to attend the Malaysian Festival (we do things differently here), because I felt like Shanghi dumplings (yes Shanghi as in China - not Malaysia ...?) and subsequently, had a hot chocolate....

Needless to say, focusing on what to 'blip' was tricky!

Decided to wonder down to the workplace and 'blip' the two sculptures that sit outside one of the entrances. They are a mixture of cement, ceramic and marble and are the creative work of Simon Rigg (1997). Inspired by nature, each sculpture is crowned with a marble 'eye' which inturn serves to frame the respective 'view'.

It was only on 'blipping' that a revelation occurred. These sculptures would sit above our offices. (Our offices are underground: it's a hospitality thing - we leave the good bits for the public). I have often wondered what's going on above us - turns out I know exactly where thou art .....

That hot chocolate appears to have fixed everything :)
