Early mists, Derwentwater

Well, early for me.

We were lucky this morning, in that the early morning mists hung around for a few hours; so I didn't have to go out at silly o'clock.

Taken at Nichol End marina on the western shore of Derwemtwater, I liked the fact that the nearest island had slightly more contrast and "bite" than the further, emphasising the distance and recession between them, and the far shore.
