Life, not as we see it.

Aw, Jessie, ma heid's right birrlin the day!

06:00 AM saw me out & about in Hoi An on a bike, trying to get some photos before all the shops were open and displaying their wares. I managed to beat the shopkeepers, but not the market which was in full swing. Trade in a myriad of vegetables and all sorts of fish, crustaceans, and bits of animals, some of which are unmentionable in polite society, and others unrecognisable or describable.

Back to raise the dead, then to brekky, following which we, yes we, as in both of us, set out on bikes to explore the surrounding countryside. Really pleasant cycling down narrow roads & wee lanes until of course you meet a scooter coming the other way, just as you are negotiating a bend / hole / dog etc. Sue did really well and thoroughly enjoyed the experience which sadly was cut short by the arrival of RAIN.

The rest of the day was spent cycling around town for fittings of shoes, dresses etc, and later collecting all the finished articles. All packed up ready for tomorrow's move, but goodness knows how we got it all in to the rucksacks.

Did a final cycle tour of the deemed important or significant buildings this evening, and are now ready for the off on the 07:30 bus to Hue, the ancient capital city. Just one night there, and similarly in Dong Ho'i, en-route for Hanoi on the 30th.
