Butterfly on thistle

Sunday
"Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life. And everyone deserves a little sunshine." Jeffrey Glassberg

This morning was the first Sunday the choir sang after the summer, so that meant an early start - at church ready to practise at 8.15 before a 9.00 service. We also sing at the 10.30 service, but we leave after the anthem. However, Roger and I also play in Joyful Noise, one of the hand-bell choirs, and we had bell practice after second service, so we had to wait around for that. We used to practise on Sunday evenings, but our director currently has a class on a Sunday evening, so at least for the time being, it has been changed to 11.45. So we were at church all morning, but at least we didnt have to go back out again later. We had brunch at First Watch, then a bit later in the afternoon went for a long walk at the Nature Center. It wasnt hot, but it was very muggy. Lots of wildflowers - yellow, white, blue, purple and some small orange ones I didnt recognise.
