A Shag on a Rock

I know it's been done probably thousands of times....but I couldn't resist.

I went on an adventure today and started to explore the nature reserve.

I was very excited as I could hear the sound of many birds. As I was approaching the skies opened up and it pelted down.
I was so afraid for my camera I stuffed it up my top and ran for the car......which was quite some ways away.....needless to say I got soaked but the main thing is is that the camera was ok.......phew! Close call that.

I did snap this just before hand....saved by the shag on the rock.....ouch!
