eventual non-necessity

Some people are weird. Not necessarily the bloke on the folder in a suit and hat I saw at lunchtime but definitely the other bloke going in the opposite direction a few minutes later who was wearing a snood. He looked to be sweating a bit too, so might have realised what he'd done and stopped to remove it. Also a bit odd was this bloke, who seemed to think he was allowed to ignore lights at random and flit on and off the pavement all the way from East Fettes Avenue to Seafield Place, even though I got there over a minute before him riding completely legally and safely and going around Ocean Point rather than straight along Commercial Street. Three or four people going the opposite way in the morning seemed to think that there's some sort of going-downhill-gets-priority arrangement on the NEPN, which would be a strange thing to think if that is what they thought.
