The loneliest number

I spotted this magnolia tree in the neighborhood with one lonely bloom on it. No leaves, just one bloom. I thought it a little sad.

Edited: I've been playing with enhancing the bloom since there's so much background chatter in the photo. This is what I came up with. What do you think?
