A Piece of Cake

Happy Palm Sunday/ April Fools Day!!!!

This afternoon, in case you hadn't guessed, I made a Victoria Sponge Cake. It was the first time I had ever attempted one, but I managed it all by myself under the guidance of my mum. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, though I think next time I should use less icing sugar on the top!! I also need to improve my cutting skills as I didn't cut from the centre and made a bit of a mess in the process! Oh well, it was great fun and tasted good and that's the main thing!
