Leaf Borning

Bright leaf borning
On a grey day dawning
Reflects the season of the year

New growth shining
Sap starts rising
Bud and flower soon to appear

Tree branch growing
Birds all knowing
Nesting times it now draws near

Farmer planting
Skywards glancing
Hoping sky, of cloud, stays clear

Grey day clearing
Mood is cheering
Bright leaf born, all Spring revere
