I couldn't believe it when I heard that Brown Thomas, supposedly the most up-market department store in Dublin, had announced that they would open their Christmas display area this month. Things are getting worse and worse as time goes by when it comes to stores descending to crass commercialism like this. Sadly, the report proved correct, as a quick look on the 2nd floor confirmed.

It's all too tacky (and ridiculously expensive) for words, so rather than impose a straight-forward view of the display on unsuspecting blippers, here it is made into a kaleidoscope instead. Happy Christmas, everyone!
