Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

My new career as a wildlife photographer

I was much encouraged by the results of my first attempt at bird photography yesterday. So, early this morning, I set off in pursuit of the local sea-birds. Eventually, after some serious stalking, I managed to snap a gull that had just caught one of the local salmon. It was only after I had uploaded the snap to my computer that I realised that I had managed to capture 2 dolphins as well! Good fun this wildlife photography malarkey!

The ornithologists among you will know that the sea-bird has strayed across the Atlantic, while any art art lovers will recognise this as a piece of whimsical Nova Scotian folk-art.
