Mystery objects!

Glyn found these under the floorboards in all the muck and rubble accumulated over 160 years. We think we know what they are - do you have any suggestions to offer?

Breakthough 2
They knocked the downstairs doorway through today and the blue/green tent did a remarkable job in keeping the dust out - just a thin layer over everything and not too much to complain about. I've been using the stone to edge a small section of garden and have managed to move and stack the rest of the stone - so I'm feeling physically tired right now. The stone looks a bit white, probably because of the lime mortar to I need to go out and collect a few cow-pats to make a slurry to paint over the stone - the slurry will encourage things to grow on it a little quicker. My big problem will be finding the cow-pats as our two local farmers have stopped keeping a milk herd. Maybe a job for tomorrow - it can't be so difficult!
