Rolling Thunder

Meet Steve Smith and his B52 Stratofortress.

We were back at RAF Leuchars for our second day of the airshow.

Unfortunatly the weather was terrible, very low cloud and drizzle which meant that many of the aircraft couldn't fly, but people seemed to enjoy it just the same.

This time we were herded into a small enclosure at the top of the field, good access but not as spectacular as yesterday.

"I've been trying for hours to find a kid to stand next to a pilot, you know a cute type shot, would you believe it they all said 'no'.

Eventually I finds a willing one and a willing pilot, I just set it up and the kid starts screaming. Nae luck by the way"

Loads of glamour in that job - yeah right.
