Most of the sock is NOT a hole

And I am not talking about the hole in the sock where you put your foot in.

On tuesday when I was dressing my self to go to a meeting, I found out that I didn't have any (clean or not sports socks) socks which would not have a hole where my big to usual is. Today I decided to repair my socks, that is four pairs of them.

So I came to think of that most of the sock, maybe 99%, is not a hole, so why throw it away? By repairing clothes I don't only save money but also consume a bit less, which feels good.
