Playing with fruit.

Well, its raining here today, I'm feeling very under the weather and sleepy so could bring myself to get in my truck and find some photos; instead I got my flash and soft box out, put a piece of glass over the top and sliced a thin slice from the middle of a strawberry. No matter what I do, the flesh does not look like it is in focus; it is I promise. I am certain it is the shadow and detail from the inside of the flesh that is shining through from the backlight. I need to slice much more thinly.

No chance of any re-takes as my son Felix came in and eat the model.
