Or the common buzzard.
These spectacular raptors are indeed quite common nowadays. We see them regularly over "our" wood but this specimen was hunting a field along the road to Culross, next to the Longannet power station.
Bit of a soggy start to the day but we did get out late morning and enjoyed a walk round Culross village before returning home to deal with some jobs in the garden.
Not a whole lot on the box tonight so I suspect we may well head out soon for a look around before dark.
