Ben Lomond

And, as you can see, the "S" word is back! Thankfully, in our area, at higher levels only.
After lunch we did our sort of usual thing and set out on a blip hunt. Running out west from Stirling, the Ben appeared, snow-capped, in front of us. Irritatingly though, there was always a tree/house/power pole or even an oncoming van in the road! Seeking a clearer view, we turned north from Arnprior to Lake of Menteith. Now we had hills, hedges and trees in the road. After heading back East from L of M, we reached Thornhill and turned South and, at last, finally, a clear view!
A short side trip to Flanders Moss and a climb up the viewing platform provided the best view yet and some rather threatening looking clouds looming over the mountain. Phew, I'm knackered!
