Rottnest Island, WA

I've been told that I must go to Rottnest Island (you get a lot of advice like this when you tell people you are going to somewhere they have been to themselves)

I catch a ferry and pick up my push bike on the island. Wow, it's hot but it's a dry heat and so it feels OK. I bike for 30 minutes and then push my bike to a beach. I take in the rays for 20 mins before I carry on round the island. It's not shown here but I meet a family or group of QUOKKAS (marsupials) who nose up to me with curiosity. Having done the island I have a lovely gluten-free salad in the main (well, only really) town (well, hamlet really).
