Heading north

While out on our walk this morning we heard the unmistakeable sound of geese flying high. We looked up and saw a huge skein overhead, heading north for their summer holiday in Iceland. Initially the skein was in an almost perfect large "V" shape, but unfortunately by the time I got organised they had broken up somewhat, probably changing the leader. I took several photos but particularly liked this one with the halo of trees.

An early blip today as I am off to have the laser treatment on my eye to remove the scar tissue from a previous cataract operation. I will have had drops put in, so won't be able to see properly to blip or comment tonight.
