One daze at a time...

Natter

The weather at lunch time was nowhere as dark or as threatening as it appears in this shot.

Because it has been doctored.

This alteration of reality for aesthetic purposes means that several years down the line I will not really recall how the day actually looked*

So much for neorealism.
Real life is in washed out colours, with very little contrast and definitely no vignetting.
If real life was incredibly exciting, the drink industry would not be thriving.
And the narcobillionaires in Tijuana would be goat farmers.

* Except that I am a hoarder and I can always go back to the RAW file, unpush the contrast, unpush the shadow, repush the gun steel colours and marvel at the blandness of it all
