Crazy Grouse

Some of the birds we've been looking at in the snow are pretty territorial - in most cases however they limit their territorial behaviour to chasing off other members of the same species. Not this particular Willow Grouse who was more than willing to try and see off anyone or anything that can onto his particular patch of snow. I risked life and limb to get this close , but unlike our guide Toni, I wasn't prepare to shed blood for the cause.
