Going quackers at the duck pond....!!

On several occasions I've been to the local duck pond I've found and photographed a host of 'other' birds - pukeko, seagull , seagull sunset, seagulls again......

Today I almost left there having added song thrush to the list - but then a small group of the cutest wee fluff-balls swam past!! I took so many pics I really did have trouble choosing just one, but this wee fella won out mainly because he looked so cute with the splashes of water on his head!

Maybe this wee chap and all his brothers and sisters was the reason dad was crowing a few weeks ago?!?!
