Whirlwind trip to Dublin Day 2:
Apologies for the offensive title - all LH's idea (and Alan Partridge's)

We got up late, had a big breakfast and set off on a walk around some of the city centre we didn't get to the day before. First stop was a look at the large parade to commemorate the 1916 Easter Rising. Then off to the old Jameson distillery which has been very tastefully converted and a walk around Merrion Square - lovely Georgian townhouses and a park in the middle with an amusing memorial to Oscar Wilde.
This picture was taken in the Natural History Museum, locally known as the 'Dead Zoo', a collection of taxidermy. It's now seen as a 'museum of a museum' and lots of the exhibits have seen better days but it's still hugely impressive if a little odd.
Dinner in a wee cafe/restaurant then jumped on the bus to the airport to catch our evening flight. Whistlestop tour over!
