new growth

Steve is not raising his usual sunflowers in the garden right now. He says that I have misplaced his seeds from last season. That may be true, and there is an ongoing discussion regarding where I have tidied his things. And why I need to do so. That said, I do like to see what he is growing, and the care he takes with his seedlings.

This season he is growing raspberries. I love raspberries, but I think of them as a rough and scratchy woodsy plant, growing wild. Raspberries are fantastic though, and my favourite fruit, so if my whole garden becomes a scratchy woodsy raspberry patch, that will be fine by me.
