Livingston Sculptures 2

This is 'NORgate' 13 meters high, which stands on the Deer Park roundabout. It was designed and created in 1995 by David F. Wilson, a Scottish Public Artist. The material used is reclaimed dyking stone, yellow limestone, whinstone, building rubble and copper. It is on the northern approach road into Livingston and can be seen from the M8 motorway as well as from the air on the flightpath into Edinburgh Airport. His four stonework and copper sculptures in the town change shape as you drive passed them and are of interest from each of the intersections of the big roundabouts upon which they are each constructed.
A family of white rabbits dwell here! You can see two on the grass on the left and a brown rabbit in the middle. Best in large size..
