Oman - Day 1. First day in Muscat

Arrived in Muscat at 10am after travelling from home since 7.55am yesterday morning.

Great to finally be here. Already loving the heat already!

Went out for a wee stroll after a quick nap to recover from the travelling. Picked up some watermelon which we ate next to this tree. So tasty! Will be getting that again.

When my Uncle got back from work he took us on a tour of the city. Amazing to see the place all lit up. We were even able to have a wander around the stunning Shangri La hotel. Very nice!

Headed to a Turkish restaurant for dinner. Grilled trevally which was delicious as well a mezze platter, salads and fresh breads. If this was on our doorstep we'd be going all the time!
