An egg hunt & some scrambling

The smaller of my 3 hunted eggs today. They've heard why Christians celebrate Easter, they've heard why pagans celebrate Ostara. They care little for either when chocolate eggs are around.

Easter has given us another opportunity to discuss traditions/customs from differing religions & cultures. We see how many people believe many different things. We might find some things that are believed ridiculous, but ultimately we see that respecting our differences and allowing those differences to exist peacefully is what is important. As Boo says, it's no more ridiculous to believe that Jesus came back from the dead (luckily she knows nothing of zombies yet) than it is to believe a bunny lays eggs.... She, currently, believes in neither or both depending on when she's asked - although she feels more inclined to believe in the egg laying bunny (it is chocolate after all) than the walking dead. She knows spring exists, that seeds burst forth new bloom, that chicks & lambs & piglets are being born.
