Our City of Literature

National Library of Scotland

When you exit the Central Library on George IV Bridge in search of a baked potato of a lunchtime, or indeed any time, the first thing you see is the National Library of Scotland. And though you might see it every day as you scuttle past to a meeting, or ravished for a soup, or on the way in, or on the way home, it still fair stops you in your tracks. Especially with the clouds all just so on this brisk spring day.
