Wish you were here

So in London then. Our route down here took us past the Abbey Road recording studios. I think the only notable band to have recorded there is Pink Floyd, can't thinkof anyone else...
There's a famous photo of Dave Gilmour sitting on those steps leading up to the door reading the Melody Maker during recording sessions for Wish You Were Here in 1975.
Hang on, this just in: apparently a band who called themselves Thr Be-attles recorded there in the 1960s. No, I've never heard of them eithet.
