Sunlit leaf

Another experiment in photographing objects with the sun behind them, instead of behind me. I had to wander off the path a bit to position this leaf between the sun and my camera. It almost looks like it is floating in mid-air, but it was actually held in place by one or two very fine filaments of webbing. Apparently a spider had been there, but it was long gone...I hoped!

We enjoyed another beautiful day...warm and sunny. Fall has definitely arrived. the evenings and early mornings are turning cooler, but the rest of the daylight hours are perfect. I hope you are enjoying wonderful weather too.
