Regular followers of my Journal might be starting to think I have a thing about bowling club gates. You might be right. I ventured out in a thunderstorm to capture this one.

I must record a comment I heard on BBC Radio 4 "Any Questions" today, which made me smile. Seemingly there has been a survey in U.S.A. to see if people there know who David Cameron is. When asked, the most popular reply was that he is the director of the film Titanic.
