She left me on Friday...

Having watched Chelsea play a ten man defence against the might Barca during the week, soaking up some incredible attacking and somehow managing to score with their only chance of the game, I had naively hoped they would revert to something resembling football for their game against the Gooners today. Regrettably, they chose the stifling game again and Arsenal didn't know how to break it down. It does worry me that a team of professionals, earning tens of thousands of pounds each week, don't seem to know how to cope when things don't go exactly as they planned. It worries me more that their manager can't find a plan b in those circumstances either. At least we didn't lose, and Spurs dropped points at QPR.

Oh well, we had a lazy day of lounging around doing very little today. That made a nice change. I even managed a couple of hours snoozing after the game, while Marc was dien for a nap. Good times.

Tonight involved a crap takeaway curry, a bottle of beer and a headache, all of which necessitated an immediate dose of medicine in the form of Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream. Aaah, that's better.
