Three Admirals!

Yellow admiral. Vanessa itea, native of New Zealand and Australia.

The Viburnum flowers were buzzing, mostly with droneflies, but there were several yellow admirals. They were very lively in the warm sunshine and I had trouble focusing on them before they fluttered off to another flower. Instead of going in for a macro I tried a long shot. Suddenly there were three butterflies in the frame! That's a first for me.
