Upwardly Mobile

I guess this squirrel noticed me before I spotted him, but I blipped him anyway. At home I tried to find an English expression for the backlit effect in Wikipedia and found 'contre- jour ("against daylight")'. I thought it sounded rather posh and assuming, so I also checked silhouetting and low- key lighting but contre- jour's the word (I think). So here's today's blip. It shows an Eurasian red squirrel running away from me... ;-)

Heathcliff is doing rather fine. He sleeps a lot, but all cats do so. There are no signs of pain. I think I'm slowly coming to terms with his condition now.
