Drum carding fun

I've had a lovely day today with my Clyde Coast Guild friends up in Gourock. We had planned to have a day playing with drum carders so Innes and myself took ours along and everyone had great fun.
For those that don't know drum carders are used to blend different fibres together so that they are ready for spinning.
I'd already spun some of my dodgy natural fleece that I've had for ages and got it all spun today. Everyone else had a play and this photo is of my friend Rosie who got me into this world of blipping.
This evening I think I'll reward myself by carding up some shiny fibrey fluff to make up for spinning the fleece today.
