Walk on the beach

Very slow start to the day as the wine last night went down a bit too well and ended up with a bit of a rock band session with the husband.
We had a family walk down the beach at lunch and the weather was lovely and we could see the showers in the distance. I love this time of the year as the clouds are great to watch and see them grow.
Unfortunately the rest of the day was a struggle as we got stuck on the M77 for an hour on our way to Silverburn. It was then a major effort to stay awake and not shout too loudly at my strangely hyper child.
Quiet evening ahead now with some gentle knitting.
