Day 112

My lovely boy...

I couldn't decide between this photo and another taken this evening in the garden, but this won as it sums up my day more.

It was the presentation day today at the sports club where H plays football as it's the end of the season for them. Him and his friends all got presented with a medal, which is of course his new pride and joy.

We decided to go home via the local pub with our friends and their two boys (fellow footballers with H) and had a couple of drinks which then turned into a lovely pub tea! The weather had cleared up and was beautiful by the time we came out, which meant we even had time for a play in the back garden when we got home.

This is H, holding a dandelion he picked for me on the way home in one hand, and his beloved medal in the other. Cricket training starts next Saturday which he's really looking forward to. With football, Tang Soo Do, swimming and now cricket, I think we have a sporty little monkey on our hands...
